Jodi Wei | Founder

The story is simple. I was working at a job I knew I had no passion for. I sat behind a desk and wondered what else was out there in the world. I craved adventure.

In 2016, I took a chance. I left a job at a well-known financial technology firm and began a life-changing trip around the world. I visited over thirty countries and my feet have walked on all seven continents. I summited Mount Kilimanjaro beneath a full moon. I slept beneath the same moon on Antarctica Peninsula. I meditated in silence for ten days in the lush countryside of Thailand. What I gained while traveling I could never have bought in a store. Traveling tested my limits, gave me a taste of so many different cultures, and nourished my growth. I returned home a brave and confident woman.

While I enjoyed traveling alone, there were times I wished I had company. Traveling in a group would have been safer, and there were times I saw something breathtaking, or ate something incredible, or even when something silly happened that I wish I had companions to share it with. I realized that the best travel experience is when you see the world with a group of like-minded people. That’s why I’ve established Travel Her Way, a women-centric travel company that inspires and empowers women to explore.

Katherine Larsen |

Social Media Specialist & Group experience Leader

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, I have always had a passion for outdoor exploration. In 2017, I converted a Sprinter and hit the road full-time. What began as a year-long road trip quickly turned into a lifestyle change. After falling in love with the lifestyle, I searched until I could find a way to incorporate the amazing world of this nomadic lifestyle into her career. I am currently traveling across Northern America with no plans of stopping.

Sarina Clark | GROUP experience LEADER Oct’19 EBC TREK

Hello! My name is Sarina and I am originally from Minnesota but have lived in Seattle the last 4 years with my husband and golden retriever. I'm in social services by day and mountain climber by weekend. I spend all of my free time in the mountains either hiking, backpacking, climbing, mountaineering or floating on alpine lakes. My journey in the outdoors started with small hikes and lead to biggers goals like hiking the Wonderland Trail around Mt. Rainier. Along the way, I took courses in alpine scrambling gaining skills in wilderness first aid and navigation. I took these skills further last season and learned to travel on glaciers as part of a rope team taking me to some of the highest points in Washington.

I'm so excited to share this journey to Everest Base Camp with you all, we are in for a journey of a lifetime together! I believe in the power of women coming together to do big things and inspire and motivate each other to accomplish our goals. I can't wait to experience the literal and nonliteral ups and downs of the trail together.

Meghan Young | GROUP experience LEADER April’19 EBC TREK

Hi, I'm Meghan! I’m a Seattle-based photographer and writer with a focus on stories centered around outdoor adventure, human-powered travel, and the deep connections inspired by wild places in cultures across the globe. I have traversed thousands of miles in the backcountry and beyond with my camera in hand, tackling technical terrain with a high level of energy despite inclement weather, wildlife encounters, heat stroke, and more. I also teach outdoor skills clinics for PNW Outdoor Women, a community-based group for outdoor adventurists I co-founded in 2015.

When I’m not on assignment, you can find me dabbling in watercolors, writing haikus, and attempting to snuggle every puppy I meet.
